Components & Locking Systems
Engineered for Life
College Park’s endo components are designed for durability and performance. Manufactured from high-quality materials, each component was designed to offer strength and precision for long-term use in a wide range of environments. Whether you need corrosion-resistant, waterproof options or specialized solutions for pediatric care, our diverse product line ensures the right fit for every need.
Noise Abatement
90% of noise occurs at the interfaces, and there are 19 mating surfaces in a typical prosthetic leg. College Park uses premium materials and special treatments for the screws and threads that can make all the difference. When two mating surfaces are smooth, the potential for noise due to friction is almost guaranteed. Contact treatment and integrated ridges on our pyramids assist in reducing this micro-movement for noise abatement right at the clamping surface. Our steel set screws offer many benefits, including noise reduction from a roughened surface and corrosion resistance from a zinc coating. A nylon patch can provide a reusable, reliable alternative to Loctite—preventing loosening without damaging threads.
Adjustable Torsion Adapters
College Park’s torsion adapters were designed to provide smooth rotation while reducing forces to a patient’s socket and residual limb. Made of titanium and stainless steel, this durable component is easily adjustable for prosthetists. It offers a maximum of 20° of internal and external rotation. Users can twist and turn with ease, which may improve comfort for walking or recreational activities like golf, skateboarding, and tennis.
